
SIE Computing Solutions, Inc. warrants its products against defects in workmanship or materials under normal use for a period of one year from the date of shipment, including power supplies, fans, and unique electrical components.
SIE Computing Solutions, Inc.'s obligations under this warranty are limited exclusively to those set forth in the clause entitled "SIE Computing Solutions, Inc.'s Exclusive Obligations" and are subject to the conditions set forth therein.
This warranty shall not apply to any product which: (1) shall have been repaired or altered outside SIE Computing Solutions, Inc.'s factory in any way so as, in SIE Computing Solutions, Inc.'s judgment, to affect such article's reliability; (2) has been subject to misuse, negligence or accident; or (3) has been operated other than in accordance with the printed instructions prepared by SIE Computing Solutions, Inc. and provided by SIE Computing Solutions, Inc. with the article.
THE WARRANTY GIVEN IN THIS SECTION IS EXCLUSIVE. SIE Computing Solutions, INC. DOES NOT GIVE ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR MAKE ANY OTHER WARRANTY OR AGREEMENT EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WITH RESPECT TO ANY NEW ARTICLES DELIVERED UNDER THE SALES CONTRACT. IF ANY MODEL OR SAMPLE WAS SHOWN TO BUYER, SUCH MODEL OR SAMPLE WAS USED MERELY TO ILLUSTRATE THE ARTICLE AND NOT TO REPRESENT THAT ANY ARTICLE DELIVERED HEREUNDER WOULD CONFORM TO THE MODEL OR SAMPLE.
SIE Computing Solutions, Inc.'s Exclusive Obligations. SIE Computing Solutions, Inc.'s obligations with respect to any products delivered to customer are limited exclusively to repair, replacement or issuing credit, or at SIE Computing Solutions, Inc.'s option, to a refund of the purchase price, or parts of products, which shall be returned to SIE Computing Solutions, Inc. in the manner set forth in this clause, and which SIE Computing Solutions, Inc.'s examination shall disclose to its satisfaction to have been defective as specified in the Warranty clause.
The remedy provided in this section is the exclusive remedy for the buyer under this Warranty. SIE Computing Solutions, Inc. shall not be responsible for any general, special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages caused by products delivered under this Warranty.

Software WarrantySIE Computing Solutions, Inc.'s Serial I/O, System Expansion and software products from the Fabric & Connectivity Division carry standard warranties. SIE Computing Solutions, Inc. also provides Extended Support options for all Serial I/O, System Expansion and software products.
Standard Hardware Warranty Policy (as of October 25, 2006)
All SIE Computing Solutions, Inc.'s Serial I/O and System Expansion products are warranted against defects for one (1) year from the date of delivery. The Standard Warranty includes 90 days of free Technical Support, one (1) year product repair, and driver upgrades.

Extended Hardware Support Policy (ES)Provides for one (1) year Extended Technical Support on current Serial I/O and System Expansion products.

Standard business hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Callback within four standard business hours.
Fax, e-mail within 24 standard business hours.
Advance replacement of boards within five business days.
Standard Software Warranty Policy
SIE Computing Solutions, Inc. warrants that the physical media on which software is furnished will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use, for a period of (90) days from the date of shipment.
SIE Computing Solutions, Inc. does not warrant that the functions contained in its software products (for example, X.25, HDLC, and ControlTower™) will meet the requirements of the user or that the operation of the software will be uninterrupted or error free.
The Standard Warranty includes 90 days of Free Technical Support.
Extended Software Support Policy (ES)
Provides for one year Extended Technical Support on current individual application software products (X.25, HDLC, and ControlTower™)
- Technical support is provided by e-mail, fax, or telephone during standard business hours.
Standard business hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Callback within four standard business hours.
Fax, e-mail within three business days.
Custom Software Support Agreement
Custom Support Agreement is available on a case by case basis for our customers who need assistance with driver and application support. Custom Support is billed on a time and materials basis at $250.00 per hour. Custom Support Agreement includes the following:
- Expert advice on how to use SIE Computing Solutions, Inc.'s products beyond the ways recommended or described by the SIE Computing Solutions, Inc.'s literature.
Help with source code of any kind, including navigating or compiling.
Help in determining if SIE Computing Solutions, Inc.'s Serial I/O or System Expansion product is defective (when used with other than unmodified SIE Computing Solutions, Inc.'s, drivers).
